One of my 2018 new year’s resolution is making an effort to make time to draw. So ideally, I will draw for an hour everyday and complete a drawing for an upcoming project.
This one will definitely have a spotlight somewhere in my work.
A phrase I heard on our car rides home growing up, especially from my Pa. “HOLD your chones” (spanglish for hold your underwear/ horses) sorta never seems to get old.

To the most recent nights in my studio. I’m making slow progress, but advancing with each drawing. Below are a few works in progress for a new project in the works. These patternsare done in opaqure pens on clear vinyl. Next step will be burning this on screen for screen printing.

I have the privilege of showing my current work in Canada. Thanks to curator Sally Frater who asked me to work alongside Centre[3] and their great staff to show this work. My art will always be featured in review for the Arts & Culture section in the Silhouette titled Mix and Match by: Razan Samara writer for the Silhouette.
