Printmaking Is Imaginative at the WAM

image

Excited about taking part in curating work for a new print exhibition Printmaking Is Imaginative in one of the galleries at the Wichita Art Museum, Wichita KS. Thanks to the opportunity and organization of Lisa Volpe, museum curator. The show will be on view in the Vollmer Gallery from March 11 through November 6, 2016

“This first exhibition in the series, Printmaking is Imaginative, explores artists’ use of varied techniques to create vivid, absorbing works of art that explore imaginative subjects.” -WAM

I selected this print by Frank Stella, one of my favorite artists using every print process in this one piece.
